| The CGBL is the premiere girls basketball league in the State. So far, the basketball has been very very good. Best of luck to all CGBL teams in the 2005-2006 season. Thanks to Don, Mike, and George for running a classsy league. It should act as a template for others. |

The CGBL has recently taken affirmative action against a parent for unsportsmanlike behavior during a league game. As we head into a new year and the second half of the 2004/2005 season all coaches should make a point to speak with their parents, even if it serves as a simple reminder, stressing the importance of being a postive role model before, during, and after league games.
The CGBL simply will not tolerate unsportsmanlike behavior from coaches, players, or any adult witnessing a league game.
