SHOCK in Montgomery 14/16U Round Robin
The SHOCK left Montgomery battered and bruised, literally. The saying. "take one for the team", took on a whole new meaning with several batters hit by pitches and some unfortunate happening on defense! The Sunday round robin started off with a strong 16U team and the SHOCK coming up short 0-2. Next up, another 16U team and the SHOCK came out on top 7-3. After lunch, they played a junior varsity high school team and did a great job, beating them 6-0! The last game of the evening was against the 14U Humble Cobras. The SHOCK came out on top 7-2! Way to go girls! You showed a lot of heart!

Baseball USA Tournament
The SHOCK showed up at BBUSA for the 8am game against the '95 Katy Force and did a great job tying it 2-2. Next up, the Texas Angels, SHOCK coming out on top 3-1! The first bracket game was against the Texas Lite. The SHOCK played a tough game going into double itb and won it 2-1. Next up was the Sugarland Batbusters. The SHOCK fell short in this match and went into the loser's bracket. Games were running behind, so the SHOCK started their last game of the evening at 10:05pm against the GT Rage. Bats were working overtime and the SHOCK came out on top 6-0. The SHOCK earned the early morning game again and beat the 97 Texas Ice with some awesome bats and great defense! Next up was the Texas Storm Elite. The SHOCK battled back and went into triple itb with this tough team but ultimately losing the 2 1/2 hour game. Great tournament SHOCK! Way to battle and earn some respect!

SHOCK in Sugarland!
The SHOCK showed up to play a tough round robin in Sugarland! It was 3 back to back to back games on an incredible Sunday morning! Offense and defense were strong in the first game of the day to get us off to a 16-1 start! Next game, they played a very tough Texas Storm Elite team and came out on top with a 3-2 victory! All of the SHOCK girls did a great job against this strong team. The last game of the day, the SHOCK did well, but couldn't produce the runs needed to come out on top and lost 2-0 against the Coastal Elite. When all was said and done, the SHOCK had outscored their opponents 19-5! Go SHOCK!!

Sugarland was SWEET to the SHOCK!!
The Shock showed up in force on Saturday to go undefeated in Sugarland! The offense and defense combined to outscore the opponents 28-10! The pitching was right on and the hits came at crucial times! The defense was strong in the infield and outfield for some great catches! We are looking forward to a great season. Way to go 4-0! Go SHOCK!!!

SHOCK season begins at BBUSA
The seasonal ills took a toll on the SHOCK roster in their first outing. Short handed and under the weather, the SHOCK went 1-2 for the four team round robin. We are hoping for a full roster in our next tournament! Go SHOCK and get well girls!!
