Cactus Foothills South Little League: Spring 2012 Divisions
To play baseball at the highest level this league has to offer. Refine advanced baseball skills including hitting, base stealing, pitching, catching, and all defensive positions. Players are to be role models for lower division players.
* Kids pitch
* 9 players in the field
* Official standings & scores are kept and announced on web site
* 10 run mercy rule after 4 innings of play
* Game Time Maximum: None, must play at least 6 innings
Those who played on a MAJORS team SPRING 2011 will remain on the same team and do NOT need to attend try outs.

AAA
Learn advanced baseball skills and teamwork at all positions, controlled pitching, base stealing, and hitting off human pitching.
* Kids pitch
* 9 players play the field
* Official standings & score is kept and announced on web site
* Team hits until 3 outs or 5 runs scored per 1/2 inning
* Game Time Maximum: 2 hours; New inning can not start after 1 hour-45 minutes

AA
Refine basic baseball skills and teamwork. Advance learning in all baseball positions... pitching, catching, base stealing, and hitting off human pitching.
* Kids pitch
* 9 players play the field

* Team hits until 3 outs or 5 runs scored per 1/2 inning
* 2 hours Maximum; New inning can not start after 1 hour-45 minutes

FARM
Refine basic baseball skills and teamwork. Learn the catcher position, and to hit off a pitching machine.
* 6 year olds must have played at least 2 years of T-ball and MUST attend Spring try outs
* Machine pitch (up to 7 pitches or 3 strikes)
* Everyone plays in the field
* Team hits until 3 outs or everyone has hit once per 1/2 inning
* Official score is kept and announced on web site
* Game Time Maximum: 1 hour 30 minutes; New inning can not start after 1 hour-15 minutes.

TBall
Learning basic all-around baseball skills (with a softer ball)and teamwork.
* Everyone plays in the field
* All players hit off the Tee each inning (Coaches will count outs, but outs will not be applied).
* Coach pitch last few games
* Game Time Maximum: 1 hour.
