Highlights from third round action....

Cypress 11-12 All-Star team won 8 to 2 over La Mirada to advance to the championship round – Bryce Sakado pitched a complete game to pace Cypress. Their next game is scheduled for Thursday, July 9 against the winner of the Cerritos/Artesia vs. La Mirada contest.

Cypress 11 year old All-Star team battled a tough Continental team to come away with a 4 to 3 victory that took 8 innings. As a result, Cypress & Continental will meet again to decide who will be the District 29 All Star champion as both teams now have one loss. Brandon Lum’s strong 6+ innings of pitching, and solid relieve pitching by Dylan Nicotera proved to be too much in the end.
