Home of the Central Florida Bobcats USSSA 2009 State Champions USSSA 2008 Team of the Year Welcome Players, Coaches, and Fans! The Central Florida Bobcats is a competitive travel baseball team founded in 2006. This outstanding group of athletes represent Lake and Volusia counties. They are dedicated boys who practice hard, play hard, and love the game of baseball. Volunteer coaches, who believe values and fair play are equally important as strong fundamental baseball skills, guide our group of fine athletes. The Central Florida Bobcats believe in academic excellence, good sportsmanship, and positive attitudes.

| 11U - Central Florida Bobcats are the 2009 Florida State Champions | | | - By Ernie Rapiere April 26th – Kissimmee, Florida The Central Florida Bobcats are the 2009 USSSA 11U Florida State Champions. The Bobcats came into this tournament ranked #14 nationally by TravelBallSelect.com. After dropping a loss to a very solid Mizunos Glory team, these Bobcats played up to their national ranking, rolling off four wins over very solid teams. These wins included a 9-1 diffusion of TEAM Nitro, a 6-5 heart stopper against the Tamp Crush, culminated by a field battle with TEAM Combat for the title. The Bobcats walked away from this battle with a 9-1 win and the State Title trophy in their hands. Overall, the Bobcats went 4-1 in this very competitive tournament, in a state where baseball is considered to rank among the top 5 states in the country where quality baseball is played at all levels. These wins extend the Bobcat's overall record to 55 wins and 13 losses when one includes their Fall season record. Their record in 2009 play now stands at 23-4. While several teams in this tournament made a strong case that they can be considered among the nations best, clearly the 2009 edition of the 11U Central Florida Bobcats proved that they will continue to be respected as one of the top teams in the nation. USSSA Super NIT - Elite 32 Qualifier
Our Bobcats will be traveling to Ft. Pierce to participate in the USSSA Super NIT tournament. The winner of the tournament qualifies for the prestigious ELITE 32 tournament to be played this summer at Disney. With all the best teams from the state and beyond vying for a bid, the USSSA Super NIT tournament is sure to see some of the best competition in the country.

The Bobcats are ranked #14 in the Nation by Travel Ball Select. Take a look at their write-up! 14. C.FL Bobcats (FL) The Bobcats jump up a few spots from the 10u final rankings. This team just wins. Possibly the most fundamentally sound team you will see at 11u. It is rather impressive considering they have several players who are league age 10.

Florida Elite Invitational
This weekend, the Bobcats travel to Tampa for the Florida Elite Invitational. This tournament should be one of the best tournaments of the season with 12 Major teams from Florida and Georgia. The Bobcats got off to a slow start but were able to get back to true Bobcat baseball. After pool play, the Bobcats met the Tampa Makos in the first elimination game where the Bobcats won big. The quarterfinal game matched the Bobcats with the O.C. Outlaws who were led to victory by 2 homeruns. The Bobcats played a great game and fought hard. Shootout at Sleepy Hollow IV CHAMPIONS
The Shootouts have been very good to the Bobcats. Having won the tournament each year, 2009 proved no different thus making the Bobcats 4 time Shootout Champs. During pool play the boys came out a little flat, but skimmed by with two close wins. The Semifinal game once again pitted the Bobcats against the Orange County Outlaws. The game was tied at the end of regulation and went to the Texas Tiebreaker. After two extra innings, the Bobcats once again were able to defeat the O.C. Outlaws. The Bobcats met the Central Florida Sun Devils in the Championship game. It was a very well played game by both teams. The Bobcats were able to hold on to win another hard fought Championship. USSSA President's Day Challenge CHAMPIONS
The Bobcats earned the number one seed in pool play after defeating Team Nitro and the Oviedo Blackhawks. Sunday's first game was a rematch of the pool play game against the Oviedo Blackhawks. The Bobcats showed lots of heart to fight back and win after being down 7-2. The Semifinal game was a big win against the O.C. Outlaws. The little guys came out on top again! The Bobcats brought home the trophy by defeating Team Nitro in the Championship Game. Congratulations, Bobcats, on winning the second Championship of the season. The Ybor City Showdown brought top teams from around the state to compete. With 10 Major teams, it was sure to be filled with competitive baseball. The Bobcats played strong games including a come back win in the bottom of the 6th against the Mizuno Glory.
