Carrollton Farmers Branch Girls Softball League: Field Rules & Scores
Putting away BasesEach HOME team for the last game is responsible for putting away bases in the equipment room.
PLEASE DO NOT leave bases on the walkway. Check with the concession stand for the key if the door is locked. Please keep in mind that the concession worker will have to put away the bases and it is not safe for them after everyone has left the park.
Bases are stolen from time to time and the HOME team will be responsible.
Infield Warm-UP is not allowed
The league does not allow team infield warmup on any game fields.
Pitchers may use the foul area next to your dugout.
Please keep your players in the grassy areas.
At Josey Ranch, pre-game warm up must be limited to the fenced areas. It is against CITY rules to warm up in the playground area and you will be asked to leave.
Hitting into the Fence is not allowed
Hitting or pitching softballs into the fences is not allowed at any time at any facility.
You may hit wiffle balls into the fence, but regulation softballs should be hit into the outfield.
Trash
The Cities of Farmers Branch and Carrollton have asked us to pass along this message:
As a courtesy to others, please clean the trash out of your dugout as you leave.
Please ask your fans to place their trash in the trash can.
Lights Out
Lights at the fields will be turned off 10 to 15 minutes after the end of the last game. So please pack up, hold a quick meeting and vacate the fields.
Thursday, January 10
Score Reporting
The winning team's manager is responsible for reporting the game score to the league within 24 hours.
Email scores to AngiPlatt@aol.com and your Division VP. If you don't have access to email, report your score to the HOTLINE at 972-418-9269, mailbox 3.
Information needed is:
1. Game number
2. Game date, time, and field
3. Home team name and score
4. Visitor team name and score
