CFBGSL hosts various tournaments throughout the year, including the Santa Festival charity event the first Saturday in December.
Thanks to the participating teams who donated hundreds of new toys and canned goods. A special thanks to the North Texas Metro Umpires who helped make it possible to donate over $900.00 in cash. On December 6th, Paul and Nancy Watten, now in their 39th year of volunteering for CFBGSL as parents and grandparents; along with Tournament director Dr. Russell Fife; Mayor of Carrollton and long time softball advocate Ron Branson; and Truett Ball, past president of CFBGSL, presented the donation to Bunnie Summerlin representing the Metrocrest Social Services.
