Central Florida Bass Anglers
Central Florida Bass Anglers (CFBA) was formed in Orlando, Florida in 1981 by a group of men who shared the passion for bass fishing and team style tournaments. The club thrives today with a roster of 50+ diverse members.
In 2009, CFBA is scheduled to fish eleven (11) Saturday tournaments a year in a 2-person team format, once a month, starting in January and ending in November with the CFBA Classic. Tournaments start at safe light and weigh-in is typically at 3:30 P.M. Team standings are based on a point system; 200 points for the first place team, 195 points for the second place team, etc. Teams who fish eight tournaments during the year qualify for the two day classic tournament, which is held in November. Trophies are awarded for first and second place teams and for the big bass of the tournament.
Club meetings are held at the ramp after weigh-ins.
