Central Redondo Little League: Spring Season Divisions

Select Season:  
T-Ball
T-ball is for boys and girls of age 5, 6, and 7. Little league requires that 5 year olds play at least one year of T-Ball. All batters will hit off of a tee in the first half of the season. In the second half, the coaches are allowed to pitch to those players who are able to hit a pitched ball.

Single-A
The Single-A division consists of strong 6 year-olds, 7 year-olds, and weaker 8 year-olds. This division will use the machine for pitching for the entire season.

Double-A
The Double-A division consists of kids ready for their first kid-pitch experience. It will be made up of strong 7 year-olds, 8 year-olds, and weaker 9 year-olds.

Triple-A
The Triple-A division consists of kids with experience in the kid-pitch division. It will be made up of strong 8 year-olds, 9 year-olds, 10 year-olds, and weaker 11 year-olds. The 9 & 10 year old all-star team will be selected from this division.

Major Baseball
The Major baseball division is for 11 and 12 year-olds, as well as some 10 year-olds with advanced skills. 12 year-olds who turn 13 before May 1 are not eligible for majors and should instead play in the Juniors division. Only 11 and 12 year-olds are eligible for the major all-star team selected at the end of the season.

Junior Baseball
The Junior baseball division is for 13 and 14 year-olds. 14 year-olds who turn 15 before May 1 are not eligible for Juniors. Only 13 and 14 year-olds are eligible for the Junior all-star team selected at the end of the season.
