Profile: Responsibilities include:
A. Conduct the affairs of the C.P.L.L. and execute the policies established by the Board of Directors.
B. Present a report of the condition of the C.P.L.L. at annual meetings.
C. Communicate to the Board of Directors such matters as deemed appropriate, and make such suggestions as may tend to promote the welfare of C.P.L.L.
D. Be responsible for the conduct of the local league C.P.L.L. in strict conformity to the policies, principles, Rules and Regulations of Little League Baseball, as agreed under the conditions of the charter issued to the C.P.L.L.
E. Designate in writing other officers, if necessary, to have power to make and execute for/and in the name of the C.P.L.L. such contracts and leases they may receive and which have had prior approval of the board.
F. Investigate complaints, irregularities and conditions detrimental to the C.P.L.L. and report thereon to the Board or Executive Committee as circumstances warrant.
G. Prepare and submit an annual budget to the Board of Directors and be responsible for the proper execution thereof.
H. With the assistance of the Player Agent, examine the applications and support proof-of age documents of every player candidate and certify residency and age eligibility before the player may be accepted for tryouts or selection.
I. Receives all mail, supplies and other communications from Little League Headquarters.
J. See that C.P.L.L. personnel are properly briefed on all phases of rules, regulations and policies of Little League Baseball, Inc.
K. Be the contact between the organization and Little League Headquarters.
L. With prior approval of the Executive Board or Board of Directors, shall have the authority to temporarily suspend any manager, coach, and player or umpire that has conducted themselves in a manner inconsistent with the policies and principles of the C.P.L.L.
M. Be empowered to delegate the authority or right of temporary suspension to any Executive Officer or Director. Said delegation is revocable at any time by the President. The suspended person will have, in writing, a notice of hearing before the Board of Directors, to be held within a week of the suspension.
N. Have the authority to approve checks not to exceed $500 per check ($1000 per month) without the Board of Directors prior approval for C.P.L.L. purposes, provided the expenditure has already been approved in the budget.
