Two League Members Receive Awards
On November 24, 2002, the Central Massachusetts Athletic Association Football Club played its 5,000th game. The League's first games were played on Sunday, September 28, 1971 at Crompton Park.
Two players in the 2002 leagues have played from that very first day through this season - a remarkable accomplishment extending over 32 seasons of football play. Recipients of the awards are...
Arthur Gazal, Friendly House - Legends League, and,
James MacCallum, Mac's Place - City League
Gazal received a special plaque during the Legends Superbowl Game played at Lake State Park On Dec. 1, 2002. For his longevity and service to the league, Jim MacCallum received his Special Veterans Achievement Award at season's end.
Congratulations!
