Web Home of the Centex Sluggers team. We are 14U and 18U Teams carrying on the strong Centex Slugger softball tradition. We have a great group of girls who just love the sport of softball. We look forward to growing together as a team over the next few years.
Our goals are to coach strong fundamentals, encourage sportsmanship, provide a fun and competitive environment, develop a winning spirit and attitude, foster lasting friendships through common goals, hard work, and fair play.

Centex Sluggers 18U win 3rd in 2nd Annual Mustang Stampede
The 18U Sluggers played great this weekend at the Mustang Stampede tournament in Temple. They went all the way through the winner's bracket until Sunday morning when we faced the 18U Hit N Run and lost 2-0 to put us into the loser's bracket. We then played the Round Rock Blaze (Gaddis) and won 5-1. Congratulations Talya on your home run! Then came the strong Stix 16U National team. We turned our first double play of the season. Great job Ashleigh and Celina! This was a tough team to beat! With this win we had to play the Hit N Run again and we took our lead all the way to the final inning and with no time left the Hit N Run beat us 5-4. The coaches are very proud of all the girls! Great job! We would like to thank Allison for going strong and pitching 6 complete games as we lost our other pitcher this weekend to injury! Get better soon Mariah!

Centex Sluggers 18U begin new season!
The Centex Sluggers 18U team is starting up again! We have added some new players and are really excited about this upcoming season! We begin our season on May 10th in Temple at the 2nd Annual Mustang Stampede! Most of our players were starting varsity players for their high schools this past year! Alexys is still going strong as one of the catchers for the Round Rock Dragons! Good luck in the playoffs Alexys!
The Sluggers would like to welcome Sierra, Camryn, and Alexys! We look forward to having you guys on the team this year!

Centex Sluggers 14U USFA State Champions!
The 14U Centex Sluggers took 1st place in the USFA B State Tournament this last weekend at Camp Comal in New Braunfels June 9-10! They went undefeated through the winners bracket defeating the Texas Elite 2-0 in the Championship game to take 1st place. Congratulations on a great weekend!
