The Buzz beat the Yankees 14-5 despite the whining and mid-game rule changing attempts by their opponents. Matthew Kent started on the mound allowing 2 unearned runs on 2 hits, no walks, 1 hit batter, and 8 Ks in 6 innings. Hunter Melton allowed 3 runs on 1 hit, 1 hit batter, and 2 walks in 2 innings. Sean Moran allowed no runs on 1 hit, no walks, and 3 Ks in 2 innings. In the 1st inning, Matthew Kent struck out a batter. JD Beard fielded a grounder to shortstop and threw to Zach thomas at 1st base. Matthew Kent fielded a grounder to the mound and threw to Zach Thomas at 1st base to end the inning. In the 2nd inning, Emil Litterer fielded a grounder to 2nd base and threw to Zach Thomas at 1st base. Matthew Kent struck out 2 batters to end the inning. In the 3rd inning, Hunter Melton fielded a grounder at 3rd base and threw to Emil Litterer at 2nd base for the force out. Matthew Kent picked off a runner at 1st base with Zach Thomas applying the tag. Divante Goodsby caught a fly ball in centerfield. In the 4th inning, Matthew Kent struck out 2 batters and JD Beard caught a fly ball at shortstop. In the 5th inning, Matthew Kent struck out a batter. Jacoby Middleton caught a fly ball in left field and Divante Goodsby caught a fly ball in centerfield. In the 6th inning, Matthew Kent struck out 2 batters. JD Beard fielded a grounder to shortstop and threw to Emil Litterer at 1st base. In the 7th inning, Emil Litterer fielded a grounder at 2nd base and tossed to JD Beard for the forceout. 3 runs were scored by the Yankees to end the inning. In the 8th inning, Zach Thomas fielded a grounder at 3rd base and threw to Matthew Kent at 1st base. Divante Goodsby caught a fly ball in centerfield. Emil Litterer caught a pop up at 2nd base to end the inning. In the 9th inning, Sean Moran struck out 2 batters and Divante Goodsby caught a fly ball in centerfield. The game should have ended at this point, but the Yankees insisted on playing some more!!! In the 10th inning with the sun going down, Sean Moran struck out a batter. JD Beard fielded a grounder at shortstop and threw to Matthew Kent at 1st base. Zach Thomas fielded a grounder to 3rd base and threw across the diamond to Matthew Kent at 1st base to end the game. On offense, JD Beard hit a solo homerun, a triple and an RBI single. Joseph Olson reached on an error three times and walked. Matthew Kent hit a double, an RBI triple, a single, walked, and hit another RBI triple. Hunter Melton hit 3 singles with 2 RBIs. Jacoby Middleton hit an RBI sacrifice fly and reached on an error. Zach Thomas hit a double and walked. Divante Goodsby hit 2 singles and walked. Emil Litterer reached on an error and hit 2 singles with 3 RBIs. Way to play BUZZ!!!!!
