Centerville American Little League: Welcome

REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED FOR THE 2012 SEASON

There are divisions for all age groups from 4-18 based on the player's age (as of April 30, 2012) and experience.  CALL boundaries are bordered by Highway 880, Stevenson Blvd., Fremont Blvd., and Thornton Avenue.

Registration Fees

$125 (without Hit-A-Thon buyout)

$150 (including Hit-A-Thon buyout)

Add $50 for each additional child (without Hit-A-Thon buyout)

Add $75 for each additional child (including Hit-A-Thon buyout)

***Attention All New and Returning Players***

You must provide the following items with your registration form:

(Registration will not be accepted unless these items are provided)

1.  Original Birth Certificate (we will make a copy)

2. Three (3) proofs of residency that display name and current address--1 each from the following cateogories:

           Driver's License                                Voter's Registration

           Welfare Records                                Federal/State Records

           Insurance                                           Medical Records

           Vehicle Records                                 Financial Records

           School Records                                  Mortgage/Rental Agreement

           Internet, cable, or satellite bill        Utility bill (water, garbage, or PG&E)--only one (1)

                                                                           utility bill may be accepted)

3.  Parent/Guardian Contact Information: complete e-mail addresses, cell phone numbers, family physician phone number, and emergency contact information.

4.  Payment (check or cash)

 For your convenience, you can download the 2012 CALL Registration form (located below or in the "Handouts" section)  and complete it on your computer ahead of time.  Please print it out and bring a signed copy to one of the registration dates.  Please note that we are requesting all parents and guardians complete a Volunteer Application (with a copy of driver license attached) at registration.  This is especially important if you will be interacting with players at games and practices, assisting the team manager and coaches, or working snack bar shifts.  2012 Volunteer Applications as well as Parent Code of Conduct forms (must be completed and turned in at registration) can be found in the "Handouts" section.

2012 Tryouts For 9 - 12 Year Olds

 All players 9 -12 must attend one of the two scheduled tryout dates.  8 year olds who are interested in playing in the Minor A Division are encouraged to attend one of the tryout dates as well.  Use the player's Little League Age (age as of April 30, 2012) to determine his/her tryout time.

Tryout Dates:

*Saturday, January 14th

*Saturday, January 21st

If one of these dates is rained out, we will have a make-up date on Saturday, January 28th.  Please note that this date is only in the event of a rain-out.

Tryout Times:

*8 and 9 year olds @ 9:00 am

*10 year olds @ 10:30 am

*11 and 12 year olds @ 12:00 pm

Players should arrive to Mattos Field at least 15 minutes before their scheduled tryout time to register and warm-up.

Players should bring the following to tryouts:

*glove

*cleats if you have them

*protective cup

*hat

*bat and batting helmet (we will have some for players to use, but many prefer to use their own)
