Starting on Tuesday March 10th, CDO Soccer Club will again provide the annual School of Soccer and back by popular demand, futsal is at the heart of all training sessions and small sided games for players aged 9 - 16!
Sessions will take place on the lower field at Riverfront Park from 6.15pm - 7.30pm on both Tuesday and Thursday evenings for five weeks. This is a great way to keep in shape and stay active ahead of CDO Player Placements in April and early May although you do not need to be a registered CDO player to participate!
(Camp dates are as follows....March 10, 12, 17, 19, 24, 26, 31, Apr 2, 7 and 9)
We'll give you a futsal as part of your camp registration fee, so all players have the chance to take one away from practice and work with it at home, getting better touches on the ball and becoming more technically proficient.
Good technique is everything, without it, tactics and game strategy don't matter. Players must have a firm grasp of all technical components involved in the game of soccer, and this requires quality repetition in an enjoyable environment, with plenty of opportunity to put the techniques to the test in small sided games.
It is recommended that players wear flat-soled soccer shoes for these sessions as opposed to cleats, but either will work.
How to Register...
Early online registration is now closed, but you can still sign up offline for $105. This price includes all professional training sessions and a futsal ball (a $35 value) that is yours to keep! For one registered player, each additional sibling can sign up at a reduced rate of $75.
