Why do I need more homework?!

Much as you learn plenty of new skills and ideas in training at CDO, your coach cannot be with you all of the time. The only way to continue improving is to practice away from practice, and that is why we are adding this new section to the website, to give you some soccer homework to do!

Keep checking back to see more and more ideas added, and try out the individual and small group practices you can do to help develop your game!

Juggle Sequences

Lots of people know how to juggle a ball, but do they really have control of it?

Here is a new way to see if you have complete mastery of the soccer ball, and you can only progress once you have managed to successfully execute the sequence at each level three times in a row.

As always it starts simple, and gets more challenging as you go...what level juggler are you?

Beginner - (Use the correct size soccer ball, fully inflated)

Skill Level Requirements (Three times in a row to pass the level!)
1 Bounce, kick and catch (below head high)
2 Bounce, right kick, bounce, left kick, bounce, catch
3 Right kick, bounce, left kick, bounce (repeat three times then catch)
4 Right kick, left kick, bounce (repeat three times then catch)
5 Right kick only, five in a row below head height and catch
6 Left kick only, five in a row below head height and catch
7 Right kick, left kick (alternate feet for a total of 8 contacts, end with a catch)
