CDO Little League Academic Excellence Program    

     CDO Little League has developed a program to recognize and encourage academic excellence and citizenship in our players.  The Program focuses on grades received for the fourth quarter of the 2008-2009 academic year.  During this grading period, players are encouraged to not only give their best playing baseball, but to also give their best in school.  To qualify for this Academic Excellence Program, players must maintain a “B” grade, or the equivalent grade in all other grading systems, in each course of study reported.  In addition, the player must not receive a “needs improvement,” “unsatisfactory,” or “failing” grade in the areas of citizenship, work habits, or other  similar category.  Each eligible candidate must also be in good standing with CDO Little League.  A Grading Conversion Chart is located below for clarification.  All other questions should be directed to Cheri Peterson at 247-5694.
