Bob Creason resigned from the Central Dauphin Girl's Volleyball program in the summer of 2007 to take the PSU Harrisburg women's head coaching job thus ending a run of 16 years at the helm of the Ram program.
Coach Creason took the Ram program to new heights under his watch:
-6 Mid Penn Girl's Championships
-200 + total victories
-Started the Pan-Ram tournament which was renamed the Creason Classic, now in its 16th year
-Helped hundred of players become better volleyball players and people in life
Bob's legacy at CD will live on forever as he put in countless hours running the program over the years. Central Dauphin volleyball is lesser for not having him involved in the program.
I know Bob's influence on my life has been special. He saw something in me as a skinny (yes i was skinny at one point in my life) high school volleyball player and kept me on the team even though I was not a great player at the time. He then invited me to help him coach after I graduted and I have been involved with coaching a program every single year of my life since then. It is all his fault. I am just one of the many players he helped become a better person and that is what coaching volleyball is all about.
Congrats to Bob as he starts his college coaching career. I hope he can make the D3 final four in a short amount of time.....to follow PSU Harrisburg volleyball google search PSU-Harrisburg athletics and then you will find the volleyball page on that stie.
Bob is also the current boy's coach at CD East High School and he also coached the Boy's at Central Dauphin from 1991-2000.
