I miss the old website which was full of pertinent information about CD volleyball and the rest of the Mid-Penn/District III and State. This site now is just full of stats and boring rah rah commentary.

Thanks goes to JB for taking time out of his busy schedule to put this site together. It's great in a lot of ways. He's done a lot for the Central Dauphin Boys Volleyball squad, past and present, and none of this would be possible without him. Thanks for creating the memories and being the greatest coach I ever had. I hope he continues to grow the organization and give opportunities to kids to play competitive volleyball and enjoy themselves doing it. It takes a special person to care about others as much as he does. He is a great coach, cousin, and friend.

Thanks JB!

When I think back to 1996-2000 I think of... Blow up cheeseburgers, pole vault poles, the chants, stealing JB's car keys, stealing JB's car (Red Cavalier), JB's famous clipboard throws, 15-3 (2000), funny nicknames, Saturday tournys, Skittles (for energy), rolling ankles, roundhouse serves, Asian sets, 1-balls, running late laps (cutting corners), Creason, smelly jerseys, hottie fan club, Cochran's intentional falls, Gardner's women strike-outs, Serrano's amazing passes, Lawson's dangerous kills, Barry's ability to put the ball exactly where it was needed, Stinky's nick-name, Corkey (need I say more), Clint's redness, and last but not least... 3 seconds of playoffs (2000). Way to go guys!

Grant just sent me this link. Great site JB. Great to see so many familiar names and faces from the CD family. I am now living in NJ, married with a 3 yr old and one more due at Thanksgiving. Been playing some ball off and on due to work and family priorities. Been trying to teach my daughter the benefit of a flat platform to pass from. Let's make sure that Grant gets proper credit with his H.S. nickname of 'The General'. Anyone named Ulysses has to get some love.

Sad to hear about Bill. As a Sophmore playing Varsity he welcomed me and made me feel a part of the team. I will remember his smile and laughter..and of course Conjunction Junction.."I'm only a Bill...but I hope to be a law some day"

I knew Peter when he lived in McLean. We were both new to the school and had our English class together. He is the one person I would consider my true friend, and he really eased what was such a huge transition for me. We had so many fun and silly times hanging out together and I would have been lost without him. We went our separate ways a couple of years ago but I still think about him sometimes. Today I passed a restaurant where he had gone out for dinner one night and thought maybe I could find something about his whereabouts by looking him up online. Sadly, what I came up with was news of his recent death. I'm really torn up about this and i know the rest of you guys are, too. As cliche as it is, "only the good die young." Peter, I miss and love you!

Peter was one of the greatest volleyball players in CD Ram history. He played the game with a passion and if a volleyball was in play he knew about it and he was there. He was the best passer and defender that I have ever coached. He did so much more for the Ram program than just be a player. He brought his friends into the team to expose them to our wonderful sport. He helped to grow our program.

Peter will be missed and this world is lesser place without him here. Always remember his smile and his outlook on life: Have a good time and be happy!

Please continue to keep his family in your prayers!!

I will miss you greatly Peter. I always loved warming up with you before a High School volleyball game or playing tennis with you after school. My prayers are with Mr. and Mrs. Jimenez. May God grant you peace during this difficult time; for He is our strength always.

Our hearts go out to the family and friends of Peter. He was a treasure and such a joy to be around. This is such an unbelievble shock - Peter will be missed very much. He is now another one of our guardian angels. We love you, Peter.
