We took the first round with a comfortable win over the RSIS Bullets. We came early anxious to play. The women had hot bats leading to the 15 to 4 victory. A welcome must go out to the return of Julie and her doubles that created runs in the books. Critical base hits from Stef and Don early on in the game were just the stepping blocks to come out with a WIN. A home run from Ab sure made the fence look short. RSIS also had to work for any hit they received with great "D" and excellent pitching from the mound...no walks to prove it. A couple of clean doubles from Glen are becoming a habit. We dove right into the second round only to come up short against the Madhatter Monkeys. Their 2 homeruns and 1 grand slam were hard to come back against-but we will meet up with them again! It's not over yet! And now we know their "weakest link"!
So hold your heads up high because our team has a lot to be proud of!!...and we have a marvelous 2nd place trophy for the spring season to prove it.
Wake up early Saturday and be ready to play!! MAS JAVA por favor!

Saturday morning came quick and we played hard. We just didn't have enough to take us past the Final Four. Third round was a tight game with great defensive plays from Glen & Julie. We broke out with a win moving us forward to the 4th round! Looked like we were on our way... The Final Four brought on another tight game. Our defense didn't "squeeze the cheeks" enough to pull out a win. Thanks goes out to Julie & Jeff (even though he showed up in RED socks - thanks for keeping a spare, Keith) for coming out! Lets come back strong in the fall! We missed you Jannette, Jim, Liz, Don, Stef & Mike...
Don't forget to send Ab moola for the fall. The fall season is right around the corner, so don't put your bats & gloves away yet! Ab should send out the practice date and the schedule as soon as he gets the info.
Check out the new PICs under "Our Photo Album" & then "2001 Season"...also, the final batting stats for the season have been posted. Great season everyone...the Fall Season starts the week of August 20, 2001.
