Happy Mother's Day
The results of the Section Championships are located under handouts on the site. The top three finishers in each event qualify for the Oakland Diocese Meet on Friday May 8th(please note this meet is now scheduled for Logan High School) and Saturday May 9th (still at DVC). The 1600 and the 800 will be run on Friday with all the remaining events on Saturday. The meet Friday will begin at 6:30 PM and the meet Saturday at 8:30 AM. Please be prompt. If anybody who qualified for the Diocese cannot make the meet please notify me at mworrell@sbcglobal.net immediately.
The K-2nd grade Championships are Sunday May 3rd at noon. Remember no athlete may participate in more than two individual running and one field event or two field evetns and one individual running event (relays do not count). This meet will be followed by a fun meet for any older participants with hot dogs, available for all participants.
The Team party will be this Sunday May 3rd at 5:00 PM. The Championship awards will be distributed, as well as personal best ribbons and any other ribbons/medals not picked up during the season. CD's will be available and we will serve pizza, chips, cookies, ice cream and soda (it's the end of the season).
We will have practice this Saturday May 2nd 12:00 PM at the Foothill High School. The next distance practice will be at 4:30 PM on Tuesday and the last practice of the season on Wednesday May 6th 5:00 PM at PMS. Anyone still interested in joining the team, I'm sorry, it's now too late.
