The CCC WARRIORS Football and Cheerleading Program was started in 1998 and is based in Columbia, MD. and draws participants from the entire Howard County area. This year, 2008, the Warriors will celebrate our 10th season in Howard County. The CCC Warriors have seven(7)age groups in football and various cheerleading squads; FOOTBALL TEAMS: FLAG Team 5 & 6 years old; TACKLE FOOTBALL TEAMS: 7-8 (75lbs max); 7-9(95lb max); 8-10 (105lb max); 9-11 (120lb max);10-12 (135lb max): 11-14 (155lb max),14 year old players have a max weight of 135lbs The CCC Warriors have cheerleading squads: Ages 5-14 years of age. Sunday, September 28 Reserve Seats for the 2008 Banquet Monday, October 6 Practice The Week of October 6th Football practice time has been adjusted for all tackle teams. Practice will continue to end at 7:00pm each night for the week of October 6th. Cheer: Cheer will not practice on Thursday, October 9th. There is no school and all school buildings are closed due to the holiday. Friday, May 2 10 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE IN 2008 !!! CCC WARRIORS CELEBRATE 10 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE !!!! Sunday, August 24 Fall Practice Schedule Fall Schedule: Tackle football teams practice Monday - Wednesday -Friday from 6:00pm to 7:30pm each evening at Cradlerock. Flag will practice Wednesday and Friday from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at Cradlerock Cheer: Practice is Tuesday and Thursday at Mayfield Middle School. The White and Blue squads will practice 6:00 to 7:30pm and the Silver squad will practice 6:00 to 8:00pm.
Weather: Any information related to practice on days when bad weather is forecasted will be posted by 5:15pm on the website and also on the Information Line at 410-637-5999. If nothing is posted please proceed to the practice field. Wednesday, August 20 CCC Warriors Home Field The CCC Warriors' home field is Cedar Lane Park - EAST, Field #8. The field is located directly on Rt 108 in Columbia, Md. Cedar Lane Park East is about 3/4 mile before you come to the Howard County Public School System headquarters if you are traveling west on Rt 108 from Rt 29. You will see the fields on your left before you come to the school board. Columbia Community Church Directions Columbia Community Church Directions: From Rt 29 take Rt 108 EAST. Continue past Howard High School and go through the light and make an immediate RIGHT onto TRICROSS. The church will be in front of you. Make a right on Thomas Williams Way and a LEFT into the parking lot. |
