Carter County American will be hosting 9-10 Zone one plus the District tournament.
The Elizabethton twins have given Carter County American Little League a great fundraising opportunity.Now through July 1st we will be selling 6 game passes for only $10. This offers a great savings to you and your family and a great opportunity for a few family nights at the ballgame, while helping our local Little League program. If you are interested in purchasing a pass they will be available through our Jr league players or call 865-406-2021. ALL-Stars
There have been alot of questions on how and when allstars are determined.
They are voted on by managers and the UIC. these ballots are then counted and the most votes determines the all star selection. There are 4 all star teams 9-10, 11, 12, 13-14 year olds. They will be posted on here sometime after midnight or early monday morning. They will also be posted on the bulletin at the field. No information will be givin out before this date. Your child was included on the ballot unless you specified directly they would not be participating.
Manager selection is determined by end of season rankings 1st place manger gets 1st choise on down the line the president is ineligible. If a team is unclaimed by all managers the following order is resumed with coaches. All managers and coaches are highly qualified for these teams and will do the best they can with each team. I myself have concidered managing against them all a great honor. I would like to thank each and everyone for all they have done for our league.
Also I would like to thank all the parents, fans, volunteers, and board members for a wonderful season and the support you have givin to our league. There are many things that we can improve on and will do the best that we can too see this happens. It has been a great year for me and I hope you all have the same opinion.
To our umpires thank you for all the long hard hours you have devoted to our league. I know your position is not always a very easy one but I have the most respect for what you have all done. In my opinion you are all world class umpires and deserve only the best in all you do. Thank you for everything.
