Take Me Out To The Ballgame Monday, June 22 CCALL Anounces Senior Baseball All-Star Team!!!!! Wednesday, June 17
District 7 Tournament Information
The District Website has all current Tournament Information, rules, etc.
Your Managers and coaches can download whatever they need, but they need to know it’s there. So tell them please. If you want more info posted, let me know.
Tournament Site Directors- Download the guidelines and the tournament rules. You need to be familiar with them Also, the D7 Policy on Thunderstorms. Looks like we’ll be dealing with that a lot.
I have the new Baseball and Softball Pins and Flags- make arrangements to get them from me. I’ll have them with me tonight.
Tee- Shirts Some of our Host Sites are trying to do Tee- Shirts for the kids, but they are not getting the information they need, so I doubt we will get the shirts with all the kids names on them. People have great intentions, but this is already a mess and instead of no tee shirts , my advice on this is to just do the shirts with just the league names. I’ll do artwork, whatever you want. Let me know what you need. You can also do shirts later for your own teams.
Rules Meetings The big meeting fell through when we couldn’t agree on Tournament schedules, so the meeting was cancelled. ALL MANAGERS AND COACHES NEED TO BE FAMILIAR WITH THE RULES. MAKE SURE THEY HAVE A COPY. Bring any questions to the affidavit meetings. There will be someone there to answer questions. First one is TODAY, WALDORF JAYCEES, 5:30 to ?. If it looks like no one’s coming , we will be gone By 6:30, so let me know if you’re coming later. This is for 9-10, 10-11 and 11-12 Softball and 10-11 Baseball.
Combinations/Charter Changes Little League’s deadline has come and gone, but we still have kids hanging in the breeze. I can’t even try to process forms or get approvals after Friday, so if you have something, get it to me before then.
Last thing Managers and coaches can’t just put together tournament teams on their own. This is Going on with a few of the leagues and it’s really getting confusing. I can’t process paperwork Unless the president( or someone I know speaks for the League) authorizes it. Thursday, March 12
