CB United 94 traveled to Spokane to participate in the River City Cup.  Saturday's games included an impressive 6 to 1 victory over the Spokane Scotties as well as a shut out of the River City Fever (4-0).  Sunday's semi-final match was with the Sand Point Strikers.  The CB's prevailed 3-2.  The finals were set with CB United '94 and River City Rockets, both taking first place in their brackets.  River City came out hard and scored three unanswered goals in the first half.  Our girls fought their way back with two goals in the second half and had momentum on their side when time simply ran out.   Astride led the come back, she and Kala B. each scored a goal.  Paighton had an awesome defensive game, including an great save.

The Columbia Basin United Club was well represented at this year's River City Cup.  From the girl's side the 94's, 95 Navy and 96 Navy all made it to the Championships and each team took home a Second Place trophy.

CB United 94 Girls Qualify for Washington State's Top League
  The Columbia Basin United 94 U14 girls soccer team coached by Gary Klepec of Ephrata qualified for P1 in the Washington State Premier League. This is the highest level of competition available through Washington State Youth Soccer. The team is coming off of a quarter final appearance in the Washington State Challenge Cup and Winning the Washington State U13 Premier G&W League.
  CB United qualified through the Washington State League Placement Tournament (LPT's) held in Pasco over the last two weekends. The team went 4 - 1. The wins were over Northwest Nationals, Blue Cats 94, Sparta Cady and Synergy. The only loss coming from Spokane Soccer Club Elite.
  CB United is made up of girls from East Wenatchee, Wenatchee, Quincy, Ephrata, Moses Lake and Othello. Team members include. Melanie Schneider (W), Ashley Klepec (E), Kylie Williamson (Q), Karlee Goehner (EW), Kala Brindle (Q), Kaila Montgomery (EW), Megan McCart (EW), Emily Rader (W), Keiley Garcia (ML), Jade Sherrell (EW), Kacie Reynolds (Q), Astride Ham (ML), Paighton Miller (W), Stephanie Tolley (O), Casey King (EW), Rachel Knight (EW) and Cheyenne Hyer (Q).
 The Team will be participating in several tournaments this summer before their season, which will begin in September.
