PLEASE NOTE: the pricing for the Boathouse Jackets was incorrect on the original form. The actual price is $87 not the $84 price quoted. We apologize for the error. The form has been updated to reflect the new price.

More Info on the Buxmont Winter League
Here are the schedules I just got form BISC (see Schedules). The first one is Var and the second is JV. The JV one is only through Dec. 3rd. Once the remaining JV schedule is made up, you will be notified. Please remember that if you are not a member of BISC you should be there at least 30 minutes prior to the first game so you can register at the desk ($30 fee). You should also bring a $40 check written out to “CB South Boy’s Lacrosse Parent’s Association”. Give that check to Coach Gray.
I’d also like to thank the parent’s association for helping with the team cost.

Buxmont Evening is the One
Thank you all for your patients and input on the winter league decision. As you know I very much wanted a full field situation and waited until the last minute for that to happen. Unfortunately the 422 sportsplex never got enough confirmed teams before we had to sign up with buxmont (again, nothing against buxmont, great facility, just not a full field).
So here is how it works for buxmont:
Cost: To play at buxmont you need to be a member. The membership is $30. You can register on line or at the desk the night of the first game (if you do this, get there at least 30 minutes before game time). The team cost will be $40 per player. Checks can be made out to CBS Boys Lacrosse Parent’s Association. Bring checks with you on the night of the first game and give them to your coach. If you are not at the first game, you must be registered with Buxmont and team fee must be paid by the night of the second game (no exceptions on this deadline at Buxmont).
Games: The games will be played on Thursday evenings starting this Thursday (11/19). A schedule will be posted to their web site once it is completed.
Rosters: Rosters are listed below. Please check to see that you are on the roster if you should be. If you are not on either of these rosters but can now play due to the change in location and cost, please let me know immediately and become a member of Buxmont.

Now looking at another Winter League in Pottstown
Thanks to lots of help from several of our parents, we did find another indoor league that is significantly cheaper. Mr. Dachowski drove out there last night (thank you John) to check it out and said it looks good.
Here are the details (copied from an email about the league):
10v10
$1675 per team
(7 Games Guarateed, Top 4 teams make playoffs)
Start dates:
Nov. 15, (need deposit by Nov. 4 to be on schedule)
Games Played on Sundays (some Saturdays may occur)
We are located 2 minutes off of Rt. 422, in Pottstown, PA (7 mins up the road from The Far Post)

As of now we have 25 players signed up for the Flemington league. This would get out cost to be about $70 / player.
The first thing I need to know is if there is any one on the Flemington list that would have a problem with the change of venue. Please only let me know if you need to be taken off the list due to the change.
With the new price, is there anyone who was not on the Flemington list who is now willing to play (email me directly). If we can get about 10 more players we can split into two teams and give everyone more playing time. That would however raise the cost to about $95 per player.
Here is a list of the players signed up for Flemington. Please let me know if you need to be removed due to the new venue or if I can add you to the list.

Here is the official off season work out schedule:
The first open gym will be Wednesday, October 14th from 7:00 – 9:00 in the Aux gym at South. We will meet every Wednesday that school is in session until the start of the spring season (March 8th). This is a full equipment workout. If you don’t have all of your own gear, come anyway with what you have. You can borrow what you need for that night from another player. If you have an extra helmet or gloves, please bring them for others to borrow for the night.
The first Weight room session will be on Monday, October 19th. We have the weight room from right after school until 4:00. Get there as soon as you can. 9th graders can take the South bus from their middle school. On the 19th, coach Brown will be there to go over lifting routines that are developed for enhancing lacrosse skills for the players who are new to South. I will talk more about this at the first open gym. We will also have the weight room on Wednesday nights from 6:00 – 7:00 starting Wednesday, Oct. 21.
Weekly schedule:
Monday’s: Lifting 2:30 – 4:00
Wednesday’s: Lifting 6:00 – 7:00 then open gym 7:00 – 9:00

NOVA Food Drive
I'd like to thank everyone for the wonderful turnout for the first holiday food drive to benefit NOVA. We collected 4 full cartons of food which I will drop off at NOVA headquarters tomorrow.
In addition I'd like to remind everyone there will be a collection next Wed. 11/18 after open gym. Mrs. Condon will be available in the parking lot to collect. The third and final collection date will be in the beginning of December.

NOVA (Network of Victim Assistance) Food Drive
The boys will again be participating in a community outreach program this year. We are going to gather food items to provide approximately 10-15 holiday baskets for families in need. We hope that everyone participates to the best of their ability to make this food drive a success.
We would like to collect the food in the following groups:

Comedy Cabaret Time Change . . .
To all the amazing and supportive ticket sellers.
The comedy club has changed the time of our show to 930pm.
We needed 70 sold tickets by 10/29. Soooo rather than cancel our party/fundraiser we now can attend the “regular show” and still have the benefit of selling our tickets. We get ½ of the cost of the tickets.
