Centerville Baseball League: Welcome

The Centerville Baseball League is a recreational baseball and softball league serving over 1,350 youth in this Southwestern Ohio community.

Lost items may be found at the Park District headquarters at the Activity Center in the Lost and Found.

The CBL will be holding onsite registration on Saturday, February 4th from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Beef O'Brady's in Centerville.  This will be for both baseball and softball  and all leagues.  

New for the 2012 season, the CBL will be ordering uniforms based on the size that you request when you register to play.  The document at the top of this page will help you to identify the correct size for your player.  We will also have all sizes of jerseys, pants, and shorts at our onsite registration day on February 4th at Beef O'Brady's.  Please feel free to stop by and try on different sizes.

Memorial Day Bash Tournament 

The Centerville Baseball League will be hosting our first annual Memorial Day Bash at several great facilities in Centervillle, OH. Oak Grove Park will be hosting evening games for the first time with all 5 fields now having lights. Each age group will have between 8 and 12 teams. There will be a three game guarantee for all age goups. Cost is $400 for 9U - 12U and $450 for 13U and 14U. There will be no gate fees. For more information or to register, please click here.

In 2102, the CBL will be implementing a new bat restriction for the boys High School league.  Players must use a bat that has a BBCOR stamp or use a wood bat.  This season the CBL will be providing one BBCOR bat to each high school league team to help facilitate the transition to this requirement.  No other leagues will have any new bat restrictions.

The CBL girls softball league is proud to annouce participation in the newly formed South Dayton Softball League.  All of our teams will be a part of this league.  For more information and rules, please see the forms tab.

Lessons will be offered on Saturdays from 8:00 AM till 1:00 PM. The cost is $20.00 for one hour sessions. There will usually be no more than four participants in a group. Lessons are being offered to those in 3rd through 8th grades.

Facilities will include Booster Park ( the high school field), CHS Baseball barn, batting cages and bullpens (weather permitting). The hitting barn is heated, but boys should bring sweatshirts. Parents are welcome to stay and watch the instruction taking place.

If you are interested in signing your son up for baseball instruction, you can email coach Dickten directly at terry.dickten@centerville.k12.oh.us. In the email, include your sons name, phone number, current grade in school and his baseball experience.

The CBL Select program offers a great opportunity for aspiring players to play under the best coaches in the community. We offer great tournament opportunities, with one of our teams traveling to Cooperstown, NY every year to play in a week long tournament.

ATTENTION 7th and 8th GRADE GIRLS

The middle school Elkettes program is now being sponsored by the Centerville School District. The Elkette season is over by the 2nd week of May. The CBL recreational league is a separate program and a great way for Elkette players to extend their playing time into July, and your registrations are welcome.
