Glass is still half full
Dennis Glassburn got his 500th hit as a Red on Thursday Night August 10, moving him into 4th place on the all-time Reds hit list.  He also added to his career sacrifice lead by recording number 64.

Did you know...?
The Reds have made the Section playoffs for 19 of their 20 seasons in the Home Talent League - all 12 years in the Western and 7 of 8 in the Northern.  After this years loss at Mazomanie, the Reds are 17-2 in that first round playoff game.

Did you know this too?
Jimmy Hineman got his first hit as a Caz Red Sunday June 4, a 2-out, 2-RBI single against Richland Center. Steve Tucker got his first hit as a Red on May 29, a 2-out, 2-RBI double against Arena. Jeremy Horkan's first hit as a Red was in his first AB of the season, a single in the 2nd inning against Cross Plains on May 7.

Jerry Schmitt who has pitched for the Reds at times over the past 20 seasons, along with playing every other position, has never recorded a victory as a pitcher.

Thursday, July 6
More firsts ...

Sam Brandts first hit as a Red was a double down the left field line against Mazomanie on June 11.  Max Brandt got his the following Thursday, June 15 against Arena - also a double.  Jon Phillippi entered the Caz Red hit column with a base hit to right against Pine Bluff on July 2nd.  All of the new Reds hits were in Caz.
