About the Club!
  About the Club:

The Catoosa Soccer Association was formed in 1988 to bring recreational soccer into the Catoosa community so children did not have to leave Catoosa to play soccer. From this small beginning, Catoosa Soccer Association has grown into a well-established club whose mission it is to develop highly skilled players who can continue to enjoy the sport of soccer year after year in either a recreational or competitive program.

In a broader context, Catoosa Soccer Association's teams are a collection of kids that proudly represent many area communities in a manner that serves to spread goodwill where ever they compete. Their skills, style of play and sportsmanlike conduct, have become a team trademark and an exemplary standard for other teams to pursue.  Players within the Catoosa Soccer Association live in various areas, including: Catoosa, Verdigris, Claremore, Broken Arrow, Owasso, Tulsa, etc.

 Our Mission

Our mission at Catoosa Soccer Association is the same as it was in 1988:

  • To provide the children in the Catoosa area with a safe environment and excellent facility where they can train and develop their soccer skills.

  • To promote an organized soccer program in the Catoosa community that can help children develop their physical, mental, and social skills and abilities, while they have fun learning life skills such as teamwork, self confidence, respect, and cooperation.

  • To offer Catoosa area children the opportunity to train and develop their soccer abilities that many of them might not be able to participate in if a local program was not available.

  • To assist children in their development as athletes and as individuals.

PHILOSOPHY

The Catoosa Soccer Association program is designed to develop each individual player to his or her fullest potential while at the same time inspiring responsibility and commitment to a team. We believe strongly in developing a club that has technically sound, possession-oriented players who are very comfortable with the ball and who love the game.

STRUCTURE

The Catoosa Soccer Program is divided into three divisions, all cooperatively working together for the long term success of each soccer player. Each division has a chairperson who is responsible for the operation of that division. In the Academy and Competitive divisions there is a manager responsible for the boys teams, and a manager responsible to the girls teams. The Recreational division is managed by the the Recreational Chairman.

1.       Provides a Recreational Soccer Program for U4 (3) up to U19 (17 & 18) players

2.       Provides Competitive Soccer for boys and girls from 11 years old to eighteen years of age.

3.       Provides education through our Soccer Academy.

We have exceptional trainers whose personal playing experience, training, and coaching qualifications make our club unique throughout the Tulsa area. Their job is to provide assistance, guidance, and training for the teams and coaches. They develop the coaches’ training and coaching capabilities in addition to training the players.

CSC Board of Directors

The Catoosa Soccer Association has a Board of Directors consisting of: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Registrar, Games Director, Referee Director, Field Director, Concessions Director, and a Risk Management Director. This Board has been established as a means to improve the overall functioning and communication of the our Program. This Board also serves as the oversight body for the Program. and is in charge of interviewing, evaluating, and selecting CSC coaches and trainers.
