Grazie tanto! to Mama Rose for helping our Sonics reaffirm their faith by observing Lent and serving a fantastic Shrimp Alfredo and Spaghetti with red sauce at our annual Sections Dinner. Mama Rose has been hosting and preparing the authentic Italian meal for the last three years. We will miss her 'Spaghetti Made with Love'.
8 ounces pasta
Boiled, salted H2O
6 T. butter
1 and 1/2 cups cream
1 cup parmesan cheese
Salt
Pepper
Nutmeg
2 cloves pressed garlic
Dash of cayenne pepper
Cook past and drain. Melt butter in a wide pan until lightly brown. Add garlic. Add 1/2 cup of cream and boil until slightly thickened. Reduce heat to medium. Add pasta. Toss. Add 1/2 cup of cheese and remaining cream and toss. Season with salt, pepper, nutmeg, and dash of cayenne. Serve. Deliziosa!
