Cathedral Sonics: Judging Criteria
| High Kick Judging Criteria |
50-70 high kicks above waist Routine should be 3 to 3.5 minutes in length |
| Total Kicks (10 pts) | |
| Kick Technique | straight backs, arm connections controlled, rib cage up, consistent head placement, posture, arm connections correct, straight kicking leg, support leg correctly positioned, feet together on preps, hip placement, stretched feet, consisitent leg placement, height consisitency |
| Height, Placement, Timing | high uniform kicks, leg placement consistent, leg amd hip placement consistently angled, kicks hit same mark between prep and peak of kick, kicks whip down |
| Difficulty of Kicks | difficult kicks, pace of kicks, variety of kicks, combinations of kicks, distribution of kicks, proper form and technique of kicks |
| Execution (10 pts) | |
| Placement, Control & Uniformity | arm placement, leg and feet placement, body placement, consistent strength behind movements, use of proper technique, routine is polished, lack of slips |

| Jazz Funk Judging Criteria |
No more than 5 kicks while linked. Routine should be 2.5 to 3 minutes in length. |
| Jazz Skills (10 pts) | |
| Technique of Turns | spotting - leg and arm placement, posture, rotation timing, rotation completion, all releves are correct, no fall outs |
| Technique of Leaps and Jumps | height, leg extension, posture, placement, timing, toes stretched |
| Difficulty of Skills | variety, number and distribution of skills, proper form and technique of skills, number of dancers performing skills, difficulty, flexibility movements |
