Today is October 17th, 2006. Every six months or so, I log on to this website to make a few updates and keep it alive. Each time I do, I am caught up in my fond memories of this team. These were not just good soccer players, they were respectful, courteous, and gracious young men who gave 100% everyday. They demanded the best of themselves and their team mates, and played for the love of the game.
Attention Lightning Alumni! If you are reading this, you too must be reminiscing of days gone by. You've made it this far, why not leave a note in the guestbook so we know you were here.

The Corwins want to congratulate all the Lightning players for a fabulous weekend tournament and incredible finish. That team was very physical and the refs were not calling many fouls. We kept up with them, beating them to the ball and playing in their end of the field more than they played in ours. We came out blazing the second half and we rocked them; they were not expecting to see such a pumped up team.
Congratulations to all! You're all champions!
