When:        11:00 a.m. - Noon

 Where:       The Practice Field behind Cascade High School 

The Instructional division will be ran by the Cascade High School Football team however I know they will also need parent involvement at practices and games.  If you signed up to help coach, please come ready to lend a hand. Practices and Games will be held every Saturday at the same time through September 29th except there will be no scheduled practice or game Labor Day weekend.  

CYL Football Sign-Up’s – Saturday 7/21, 9:00am to 11:00am at the Cascade Football Lockeroom Building

Clean Up Day – Saturday 7/21, at 9:00am, CYL will be looking for volunteers to clean up the fields.

Cascade Youth Football Camp – Monday to Thursday 7/23-7/26, 5:00pm to 6:30 at the Cascade Football Complex

Evaluations and Last Day for Sign-Up’s without Late Fee – Saturday 7/28, 9:00am to 10:00am at the Cascade Youth League Football Field.  Evaluations on this date are only required for players that did not attend the Cascade Youth Football Camp

Online Sign-Up’s without Late Fee – Online Registrations will begin charging late fees after 11:59pm on Friday 7/27.

CYL Football Draft – The CYL Football Draft will be conducted on Saturday 7/28, after the conclusion of Evaluations.  Players that join the league by way of Late Sign-Up’s will be added to teams in a fair and equitable process, as determined by the CYL Board.

Late Sign-Up’s – The Late Sign-Up period will run from after Evaluations/Draft on 7/28 thru Friday 8/10 at 6:00pm, with a $25 late fee incurred.  Sign-Up’s can be taken by a CYL Coach or Board Member, at Walk-up Registrations (additional dates for Walk-Up Registrations to be determined), mailed to Cascade Youth League (P.O. Box 95, Amo IN, 46103), or done online thru www.cascadeyouthleague.com (late fee for online sign-ups will begin being assessed at 12:01am on Saturday 7/28).

CYL Jamboree – Cascade Youth League will have its Opening Jamboree on August 11^th at 11:00am.  More details to follow.  Uniforms for players for the Late Sign-Up period will not be available.

First Weekend of West Central Football Games – The WCFL Season will begin on Saturday 8/18 at 9:00am.

Cascade Youth League Football

Cascade Youth League Football will be organized as follows for the Fall 2012 Season:

Age Group:

Pre-Kindergarten/Kindergarten - Players will learn fundamentals of the game in a non-contact division

Registration Cost: $35.00

Age Groups:

1^st and 2^nd Grade Levels - New to the CYL this year, 1^st and 2^nd Grade players will compete in a full contact division to begin the development of fundamentals of football.

3^rd and 4^th Grade Levels – 3^rd and 4^th Grade players will compete in a full contact division to continue their development of fundamentals of football, as more advanced concepts are introduced.

5^th and 6^th Grade Levels – 5^th and 6^th Grade players will compete in a full contact division, concluding their youth league development, and prepare them for the Cascade Middle School Football program.

Cascade Youth League will hold football sign-ups on the following dates:
Saturday, July 7th, from 9:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m. at Cascade High School Football Locker Room.
Saturday, July 14th, from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at the Amo Ball Diamonds.

Physicals will be required for all Football players prior to any contact activities at Practices.  Please have the IHSAA Physical Evaluation Form completed by your Physician, Parent, and Athlete.  The completed forms should be given to your Coach, or a CYL Board Memeber.

Cascade Youth League will offer Cheerleading for Football.  Fees will be $65 per child.  Each girl will get a true cheerleader uniform and pom-poms that they get to keep.

The CYL Cheerleading Sign-Up form can be found on the Handouts Page, and can be mailed or given to a CYL Board Member.  Additional walk up registrations dates are to be determined.

A Cheerleading Flyer will be sent home on the first day of Mill Creek Community School Corporation classes.  Registrations at the standard fee will be open until the hard cut off date of August 10th.
