Traditionally, walk-in registration begins for the spring in early January. With the inception of Online Registration, we are able to open up registration online much earlier.
If online registration appeals to your needs, you may use this method of registering for our events.
NOTE: Players who register online must bring their proof of age and residency as listed below to one of the Walk-in registrations or to try-outs.
To be placed on a team you must bring to registration the following:
-- Proof of age - an actual (no copies) 'Live Birth Certificate' (state, county, or city issued) or a passport (No California Abstracts)
-- Three different kinds of proofs of residency with addresses within Cascade boundaries, such as:
1 - current drivers license
1 - current vehicle registration
1 - current state-required proof of insurance card
1 - voter registration card
1 - recent utility bill
1 - recent internet - cable or satellite, bill
All players league age 9 (9 on or before 04/30/09 for baseball and 9 on or before 12/31/08 for softball) and above (including returning players) must try out. If you are a returning player to a Major, Junior or Senior team and you do not sign up on or before February 14, 2009, you are not guaranteed a return spot on your team and you will not be in the draft.
Fall Baseball & Softball
August thru October
Fall Ball is an additional season, which runs for approximately 12 weeks. This season is offered as an instructional opportunity for players who will be advancing to a higher division in the next season.Fall Ball is for players who's league age next season will be 9 to 14.
The rules for Fall Ball are established each season by a committee formed from representatives from each League within our District. Fall Ball is an excellent opportunity for players to gain experience and increase their self-confidence.
