WELCOME to the Cary-Grove Matmen website. Come be part of a family rich in tradition, it's more than wrestling. We place a strong emphasis on ACADEMICS, SELF-DISCIPLINE, SELF-ESTEEM, CONDITIONING and GOAL SETTING - inside as well as outside the wrestling room. We encourage you to take the time to explore ALL the LINKS above and get a better idea what the sport of wrestling, and the club is about and stands for.

Sincerely,
The Cary-Grove Matmen

All wrestlers are matched in age and weight, example; 6 & under, 7 & 8, 9 & 10, 11 & 12, 13 & 14, weight is within 3 to 5lbs of your opponent. All wrestlers average 3 matches a tournament. RECOMMENDED READING, KYLE MAYNARD "NO EXCUSES" .

Kyle Maynard's " No Excuses" is a must read for everyone. "We often measure the heart of a champion by his success. A true champion is measured by how he overcomes adversity. Kyle Maynard embodies the true champion spirit and motivates you to become a better athlete and person." -Randy Couture, World class wrestler and UFC champion "Significant achievements occurs to those who have the courage to overcome disappointment and setbacks to pursue their dreams. This is an inspirational book about the perseverance of the human spirit. Let Kyle inspire you!" -Troy Aikman, Former quarterback and Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl champion. I promise this book will change you.
