Seniors Kim Zamojcin, Jackie Krizovensky and senior goalkeeper Moirah McMorran led Archbishop Carroll to a triple overtime victory over visiting Archbishop Wood in a Philadelphia Catholic League Semi-final game. Zamojcin scored the lone regulation goal for the Patriots. Zamojcin and Krizovensky came up big nailing their penalty strokes in the third overtime. Moirah McMorran stopped four out of five of the Wood overtime strokes to earn the victory.
Carroll enters their third straight Catholic League title game. They will will play the winner of the Cardinal O’Hara-Kennedy-Kenrick game which was postponed Wednesday. The Catholic League Championship Game is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 27, at 1 p.m. at Arcadia University.
Shots on goal stood at 14-4 in favor of Carroll.

The 21st-seeded Wildcats were bounced from the second round of the District 1 Class AAA field hockey playoffs following a setback to the host Fords.

Ryan Jones scored two goals for Haverford in a contest in which all the scoring was done in the first half.
Owen J. Roberts closed out the year with a 14-10 overall record under head coach Clarence Jennelle.
