The Cost For Playing on a Regional Level Team
Carpe Diem Volleyball Club's rates are as low as they come. Unlike other clubs in the area we do not do club to make money. We do it for the girls to get better at volleyball and hopefully be able to get a scholarship in college.
There are many costs that go into these prices below.

Some include:
Gym rental fees- can be up to $50/hour per court.
Paying quality coaches- our coaches at CD are the best and we pay them to coach with us. Clubs that do not pay their coaches well either have bad coaches or coaches that do not coach for very long.
Tournaments- Every tournament we go to is included in the fees. Tournaments can range from $125 per team to $800 per team.
Media Guide- a fundraising tool and advertising thing
Equipment- balls, carts, nets, etc
Travel expenses for coaches
Utilities
Many more small things

The cost for playing on a Regional level team this year are listed below:

15 and under through 18 and under= $625
13 and under and 14 and under=$525
12 and 11 and under= $450
10 and Under- $400

This pays for everything for the season including: coaches expense, gym rental, equipment rental, USAV registration, and tournament entry fees. The only thing that it does not cover is uniform, travel expenses (gas and overnight lodging) and food at the tournaments.

During the year you will be able to see what payments you have made and what you still owe. It will be posted under the "Payment Update" link on the left of the website.

The Cost For Playing On A National Team
The cost for a National team this year is going to be $700. This price includes all of the above for the Club player but also 2 National tournaments-This year we will be going to Spartanburg for the Southern Classic which is now a 2 day tournament, and the second is the Big South Qualifier in Atlanta (formally the Tampa Bay Qualifier).

Note: We do not pay for hotel rooms for the players on National teams this season. Each child will need to make arrangements to stay with a parent or chaperone on the trips to Atlanta and Tampa. We will discuss this at the team meeting if you have any questions.

The advantages of being on a power team are that you will be playing against other teams that are at a higher level. Also, you will get the National experience that is so beneficial to the players along with greater college recruiting.

During the year you will be able to see what payments you have made and what you still owe. It will be posted under the "Payment Update" link on the left of the website.

Payment Plan Outline
As mentioned above the cost for club is in a lump sum number. You may pay this all at once if you wish. However, we recognize that this is not feasible for everyone. There is a 3 payment plan.

Note- New this year- We have had people in the past that have chosen to use the payment plan and then not made the payments. This is not fair to us because we have coaches to pay, tournament entries to pay, gym rentals to pay, etc. Therefore if you choose to do the payment plan and you are late on a payment by more than a week then there will be a $20 late fee. If you are over 2 weeks late you will receive an email saying that you must pay now with a credit card payment or your child will be taken off the team. We are sorry that we have had to come to this but there are too many people that are not keeping up with their promises to pay for club.

Our payment plan is as follows: Please be promt!

As always fund-raising opportunies are available and will be discussed at the Parent/Player meeting on October 30th.

Fund Raisers
We know that Club cost can be a burden to many families and we at Carpe Diem want everyone that truely wants to play the oppurtunity to play. We do offer many fund raising opportunities so that anyone can pay their way through club.

The first Fund Raiser that we are doing is Sponsorship of our club. You can get a business or individual to advertise with us in many ways at various monetary levels. All sponsorship fundraising must be done before January 1st. You may download all the forms necessary to do this under the "Handout" link.

We will be selling Krispy Kreme Donuts in January and February.

We will also be selling scratch cards. Call about this one.

Electronic Bank Draft
If you do not want to use your credit card and pay the extra fees to do that but you would like to pay electronically you can do so. Here is how.

Go to Paypal.com Set up a free personal account with them. Once you do that then you need to click on "add a bank account" to your Paypal account so that they know where to draft the money from. Once you have added it then you click on the link at the top that says "Send Money". Type in our email "carpediemvolleyball@yahoo.com" into the place for receipient. Then type in the correct payment amount and it will be sent to us.

This is free to both you and us and therefore is the same price as sending a check.
