The Carolina Stampede is a 16U Showcase team that will soon transition to 18U. The team is comprised of girls from Rowan County and surrounding areas who love the sport and want to further that love to college. The team is coached by Tiffany Poole Carter who played locally at East Rowan High School and at the collegiate level for Wingate University.
We believe that our greatest contribution as an Organization is in teaching young women the values of competition: to make a commitment, to work hard, to strive for excellence, to sacrifice to make the team better, and to be the best you can be as a person and as an athlete. We believe that our job is to prepare them for life through sport by developing the total person, as well as the athlete.
We want our players to understand the value of the game goes far beyond winning or losing; it is more about the relationships formed on the field, the team unity, and the ability to accomplish a common goal together.
Members of the Carolina Stampede will learn about commitment, trust, respect, pride, responsibility, attitude, motivation, discipline, mental toughness, success and integrity.
