Game Times:

Our first game on Saturday is at 10:30 at the Salisbury community park field #6.  We need to be at the ball field ready to warm up at 09:00AM.  We have a very busy schedule both Saturday and Sunday. 

It was just brought to my attention that we have a 4:30 and 6:00 game scheduled at the Salisbury Sports complex on Saturday, a few miles down the road.  I have included a link to the addresses and directions for both complexes from the NSA website.  The community park is where we played back in July.  Sunday morning will start out at the Salisbury Sports Complex and then move to Salisbury Community Park.

Please pray for good weather so we do not have a fiasco like we did last week.  If the weather turns ugly I’ll let you know of any delays or cancellations as soon as I get them. Our games are as follows:

Congratulations Blast on a great Tournament.  This was one of our best hitting tournaments of the year.  You all showed great discipline at the plate and it translated into a lot of runs scored.  Even with the one game that we were forced to finish with only 8 player we outscored our opponents 36 -22!!  The last two tournaments combined we are 9-2 and have outscored our opponents 67-30!!  Great job Ladies!!!!  This weekend was another example of how you  LEAVE NO DOUBT!!!!!

Don't forget we have our 3rd Annual Fastpitch Clinic at Central Cabarrus High School on Saturday March 21, from 10-3.  We should plan to be at the field by 09:00 to get set up for the clinic.  See you there!!!

Players, Parents, and Coaches, Thank You and Congratulations, for a great year.  We started and ended the year on a very positive note.  Moms, Dads, and young ladies you have to be the best group of families I have ever had the pleasure to be around at the ball fields.  I can’t tell you enough how much I applaud your support to the team and especially your daughters.  I also value the trust you have placed in Danny and I as the Coaches of what once were your precious little girls.  Now they have grown into talented and beautiful young ladies.  I hope that we can continue to help you and them, realize their dreams.  I also want to thank the ladies for the sacrifices they have made and will continue to make, to play softball at this level and at the next one.  You all are the GREATEST!!

While I do not measure success completely by the amount of games or tournaments we win or lose, it does show the hard work the girls have put in.  We played in a total of 20 tournaments, with a record of 47-28-1 in 14-U and 16-10-0 in 16-U.  We won 3 tournaments, were co-champions once, finished 2^nd twice, 3^rd twice, 4^th twice, 5^th once, 7^th once, 8^th once, 9^th twice (NSA State A-Div. and NSA World Series).  Combined, we finished the year 63-38-1 or a winning percentage of 61.76% (.617647059).  Based on major league baseball we were a very successful team.  A winning percentage of .6176 was better than any team in the American or National league.  What a great start in 16-U, don’t you think?  While I am extremely happy with these results, we will still strive to make improvements for next year.
