The new board of Carnine Little League thanks and welcomes you to a new era in Little League baseball. President Ralph "Junior" Miller and the rest of the board can't wait for the baseball season's warm return! We would also like to thank all those who have signed up for the upcoming 2008 season. We would especially like to thank our volunteers and coaches for their commitment to making our league better. We can't make it work without you! Opening day and the parade is just around the corner...
The new board would also like to thank our community sponsors including Dick's Sporting Goods, the William Penn School 49 PTA, Bolton's, Indy Parks, EHOB, Courtney Construction, Tigers Express, American Legion Post 88 SAL, Freeman Tire and Auto, Stace-Allen Chuck's, 10th Street Sports Center, Ruble Flowers, Steak and Shake, Waymire, WINC, Linda Kuntz of Indy Parks for a grant from the Cincinnati Reds, and an anonymous donor who sponsored the classic Carnine Snoopies for their continuing support of youth baseball on the near-west side of Indianapolis. The upcoming 2008 season promises more fun and exciting activties for our community. We invite you to make youth baseball at Carnine a continuing success.
The coaches of all teams and divisions should have already contacted their players. If you have not been called, please e-mail vice president Colin Webb at webbc@ips.k12.in.us. Practices will begin the week of April 1. Volunteers for opening day will be needed to report to the park at 7AM April 19th. Please call the league office at 635-6460 for more information.
