GIRLS U8/9 TRAVEL TEAM TO BE FIELDED SPRING 2010
Carmel United Soccer Club will be fielding a U8/9 Girls Travel Team in the Spring, 2010. Tryouts were held to select players we had an open tryout Saturday, 11/7, at George Fisher Middle School. The team is open to all girls born between 8/1/2000 and 7/31/2002 whether they are playing in the Club or not. Any additional players that wish to tryot or those with questions or volunteers for assistant coach or team manager should contact Travel VP Gene Sepe at gsepe11229@aol.com or Head Coach Phil Larkin at coach@carmelsoccer.com.
Any boys interested in playing Travel on the existing Travel teams should contact Gene Sepe.

CLUB RESURFACED MATTHEW PATTERSON ELEMETARY SCHOOL FIELD REOPENS SPRING 2008
FIRST GAMES ON NEW FIELD WEEKEND OF 4/5,6/2008!!!
BACKROUND:
After much planning by Field Coordinator Dusty Rothaker with the Carmel School District, the project to resurface the south U8-U11 Modified field by the school is underway. This is the worn field we have been using for decades. Workers applied new topsoil, seed and mulch. The work cost over $4000 and funded entirly by the Carmel United Soccer Club. The field should be ready for use by spring 2008. Please do not walk on this field before then. If you see anyone using or abusing this or any other field, please notify the Carmel Central School District and provide details. Thanks to Field Coordinator Dusty Rothaker for his persistence and time. If you can provide any help please let Dusty know. TRAVEL COACHES: DIVISION 2, 3, 4, 5: U-8,9,10,11,12.
Referees are assigned to these Non-Division 1 HOME games by the Club. If you do not receive a call from our home referee by Thursday of the week of your HOME game, you MUST call Gene Sepe Friday evening at 225-9112. All other Travel Division and Age Group games are assigned referees by the Hudson Valley Soccer Referee Association. Follow you games Operating Procedure on how coach notification for these games are handled.
