WELCOME TO THE CARMEL UNITED SOCCER CLUB WEBSITE.....SCROLL DOWN FOR NEWS AND INFORMATION
The Carmel United Soccer Club is an organization founded in 1980 dedicated to soccer. It is the Soccer Program that includes all the children of the Carmel School District. We are not a school or town program and our Board of Directors are not paid. The Club runs a Travel Program for ages 8 through 19 and an Inhouse Program for ages 3 through 12. Our affiliation is with the East Hudson Youth Soccer League. We play in the Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer and are committed to the training of our children and coaches to prepare players for high school level competition and beyond. Our premier teams play in major holiday tournaments such as the Virginian, Columbia, WAGS and Coca Expo, Orange Classic ( Fla.,) as well as local outdoor and indoor tournaments. Some of our players are experienced ODP and League Select players that are focused on preparing for post high school play.
Board Meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of each month. Click on MEETINGS on the left for time and location. All are welcome. To place an item on the agenda please email us. Unless you are on the agenda there will not be time for your presentation.

ALL ACTIVITIES FOR SATURDAY, 9/6 WILL GO ON AS SCHEDULED. UNIFORMS WILL BE DISTRIBUTED TO COACHES AND COACHES WILL DISTRIBUTE UNIFORMS TO PLAYERS. PLEASE BE AT FIELD 1/2 HOUR BEFORE SCHEDULED START TIME.
Fall 2008 SCHEDULES POSTED. CHANGES NEEDED TO BE MADE TO SOME START TIMES AND LOCATION DUE TO FIELD CONFLICTS WITH CARMEL SCHOOL DISTRICT SOCCER TEAMS AND ACTIVITES AT GEORGE FISCHER MIDDLE SCHOOL.
Carmel School Distict has one dedicated regulation soccer field and it's at George Fischer Middle School. High School is multi purpose. The Distrcit fields 6 soccer teams in the Fall (High School Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Middle School Modified) for boys and girls. They will occasionally use George Fischer for Saturday games. The Town of Carmel has no field in the District boundaries and the town of Kent has no soccer field at all. We do the best we can to assure all the kids play as much as they can with these very limited resources.

If you don't recertify you cannot referee games in 2009.

Referees usually begin at 13 years old. Referees are paisd for their services and are reimbursed the cost of the Entry Level course after they referee for the Club 1 year. Contact Head Referee Keren Larkin (see contact info by clicking BOARD MEMBERS on left) if you are going for certification, want to be included as a Club ref or if you need more info.
