During the summer of 2009 Capitalland Lacrosse and Field Hockey Club is offering weekly evening field hockey programs on the fields in front of the hockey rink at the Clifton Commons in Clifton Park. (Note location change: we are not conducting these programs at the Sportsplex in Halfmoon.)
Our professional staff includes two of the best female coaches in the area, Karen Flewelling and Mary Lou Vosburgh, who will be attending the advanced skill camps and the weekly evening program.
COACH KAREN FLEWELLING: Current USA Futures Field Hockey Coach, Empire State Field Hockey Coach and Former Shaker High School Varsity Field Hockey Head Coach.
COACH MARY LOU VOSBURGH: Former Bethlehem High School Varsity Field Hockey Head Coach, Former SUNY Albany Women's Lacrosse Head Coach, 17 Years as Field Hockey Camp Director.
In each program players will be assigned to groups based on their age and skill level. Each player will be given quality instruction that fits the player's level of experience and includes individual skill work, offensive/defensive tactics and techniques, team concepts, and goalie skills, as well as full-field games and overall recommendations.
Register early to ensure your spot. We will be accepting applications 1/2 hour prior to each scheduled session as long as spots are available.
We do have a pay-and-play program for those players who can only make one or two events.
WEEKLY EVENING FIELD HOCKEY PROGRAMS
The fee for each program is $95 , if paid before June 21. Fees are $110 after that date.
ALL CHECKS ARE TO BE MADE PAYABLE TO "TOWN OF CLIFTON PARK".
We also have a pay-per-night program for those players who can only make a night or two. The fee is $25 per night. Pay-per-night players must sign in and pay at our front desk in order to receive a playing pass, located in front of the hockey rink.
Weekly evening programs are as follows:
Advanced Skills Program
This program is for the intermediate and advanced skill level players that have been playing field hockey for a while and have good deal of skill. These players want to refine their skills while being introduced to more advanced techniques, so they can capture a starting position on their high school's team.
Beginner and Novice Program
This program is for players that are novice or beginning field hockey players who need to sharpen their basic skills while being introduced to more advanced techniques that they will need in order to make their school's modified, freshman or junior varsity teams.

PAYMENTS/REFUNDS
All checks are to be made out to TOWN OF CLIFTON PARK.
All requests for refunds must follow Town policies and go through the Town of Clifton Park. Capitalland Lacrosse & Field Hockey is only acting as agent for summer programs. The Town phone number is 371-6667.
SITE
Summer evening programs will be held at the Clifton Commons in Clifton Park, NY. Click here for map and directions.
As you go into the Commons, go straight to the parking lot on the right. The field is next to the parking lot.
EQUIPMENT
Players must wear personal equipment mandated by high school field hockey regulations. There will be requisite equipment available for rent by any person in need.

INCLEMENT WEATHER
