St. Albans Sweeps
St. Alban's Kayli Carter tripled in the opener as the Red Dragons parlayed six Capital errors in the first 2 innings into an 8-2 win. Capital's defense recovered in the the 4th inning and blanked the Red Dragons the rest of the game, showing what our young, talented team is truly capable of.
In the nightcap, the Red Dragon's Lindsay Smith went 2-for-3 with a homer and four RBIs as St. Albans blanked a tired and cold Capital, 12-0 in a five-inning mercy-rule win of a doubleheader sweep. It was the opener for both teams.
