Dear Parents.

Welcome to Cape Coral American Little League!  We are excited that you have chosen CCALL for your children to learn the great game of baseball. The Board of Directors are hard at work preparing for the upcoming 2010 Spring Season.

At Cape Coral American Little League, we take pride in providing that small town, close knit feeling where we combine baseball instruction with fun. We haven't lost sight of the fact that, above all else, the game of baseball is meant to be enjoyed by the players, coaches, umpires and fans. All of our board members, managers, coaches, umpires and volunteers share the dedication and desire to provide you and your children with a positive and memorable experience.

Baseball instruction at CCALL is designed for boys and girls from 4 through 12 years of age. Each division is grouped as follows:

                Biddy Tee-Ball:  Age 4                       Tee-Ball  Ages 5 & 6

                Minor AA:  Ages 7 & 8 "pitching machine" (6 yr old w/ evaluation) "tryout"

                Minor A:  Ages 9, 10, 11 (8 yr old w/ evaluation) "tryout"

                Majors:  Ages 9 thu 12 (tryout)

The focus of the Tee-Ball and Minor AA Divisions is to teach the basic principles, fundamentals and sportsmanship of the game. As your child advances in age, so does the level of instruction and competition with a continued focus on sportsmanship, teamwork and fun. All of our managers and coaches will have experience and a strong knowledge of the game.

Cape Coral American Little League is a not-for-profit organization funded primarily by registration fees, sponsorships and fundraising efforts. Sponsorships and fundraisers help offset the reliance on registration fees and provide our players with the most up-to-date equipment and uniforms.

Again, welcome to the CCALL family and we look forward to a successful and fun season.

CCALL SEASONS

The Regular (Spring) Season ~ all divisions, ages 4-12 ~ runs January through May ~ registrations in late Dec./early Jan.

LL Tournament ~ aka ALL STARS ~ ages 9-12, begins mid June, games played in late June/early July, and based on success of team, may continue into August.

The Fall Season ~ aka Fall Ball Camp ~ ages 5-12 ~ runs late Sept. through Nov. ~ registration early September.

Little League is a volunteer organization, so please consider this opportunity to get involved!

Little League Volunteers are required to complete a LL Volunteer Application (MANDATORY SSN) along with a copy of a government issued photo I.D. (i.e. Drivers License).  CCALL complies with the Little League Child Protection Plan which requires voluteers to complete this form EVERY YEAR.
