Capaha Baseball Team: Welcome

Capaha Field

The Capaha Baseball Team took the field for the first time in 1894 making them the oldest team of their type to still be in existence in the United States. The team was originally named after the CA-PA-HA flour company and in the early 1900's when the flour company dropped the sponsorship the team decided to retain the name.

In 2014 Jess Bolen will begin his 48th year as manager of the Capahas.  In 2013 the Plaza Tire Capahas finished 4th in the NBC World Series and won the honor of  Best Defensive Team in the tournament.  In his 47 years of coaching Bolen has a record of 1465 wins and  393 loses.
