Opening Day was an outstanding success!
Proceedings began with an exceptional showing of players on the field.
This was heightened by the attendance of Moreno Valley’s Mayor Richard A. Stewart.
After being introduced by CSLL President John Fresquez, Mayor Stewart threw out the first pitch of the 2009 spring season. The lucky catcher for this event was no other than our very own junior player Tyler Stevens, # 10 Red Sox.
President Fresquez continued to hold the day as ceremonies proceeded.
A successful fund raiser and continued volunteer registration highlighted CSLL efforts for a great 2009 season. First games were played through most of the day for T-Ball, Farm, Minor and Major divisions.
CSLL means FUN for the entire family!
Canyon Springs Little League has been teaching baseball since 1987, showing the boys and girls of our community the value of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, respect, responsibility and teamwork.
No matter what the age or skill, CSLL has a division that is right for every player!
CSLL also offers baseball for special-needs children.
Please ask about our CHALLENGER LEAGUE!
