Bats with a diameter of 2 3/4" are no longer permitted in the Junior Division. This is the only standard at this time for this division. Bats with a diameter of 2 5/8" or less are permitted.

Interleague rules

The current Little League baseball official regulations and playing rules shall govern and control these inter-league games. Inter-League Rules - General

1.      These inter-league rules are governed by the Board of Directors for the following Little Leagues and may be changed or modified by the BOD with a majority vote of all combined leagues.

·         Temescal Valley Little League

·         Wildomar Little League

·         Canyon Lake Little League

·         Lake Elsinore Little League 

2.      These inter-league rules shall govern all Junior division games played between Temescal Valley Little League, Wildomar Little League, Canyon Lake Little League and Lake Elsinore Little League. 

3.      All games count towards team standings, even inter-league games. 

4.      All scheduled games should be played.  Make up games should be scheduled with the priority given to the games that will affect division standings and player tournament eligibility regardless of the league. 

5.      Any disciplinary action of a manager will be the responsibility of that specific manager’s board of directors.  However, the Presidents of Temescal Valley Little League, Wildomar Little League, Canyon Lake Little League and Lake Elsinore Little League will form a disciplinary committee to discuss the situation and make disciplinary recommendations. 

6.      Home field will provide umpires. Local League Rules – Junior Division

1.      Starting of the game: All games shall start with both teams lined up on the first and third base lines by reciting the Little League Pledge.

2.      Time Limit:  Games shall last 2 hours and 15 minutes, no new inning shall be started within 15 minutes of the SCHEDULED end of the game (the last game of the day will be played to completion – 7 innings).  This is NOT a ‘drop dead’ time limit.

3.      Rules:  Inter-league rules will apply to inter-league division regardless of the field of play.  Special ‘ground rules’ will apply per field (see section on ground rules).

4.      Pitching:  All games count for pitching eligibility.  If a league has a break in the season, pitching eligibility rolls over from prior to the break.

5.      Pitchers league age 16 and under must adhere to the following rest requirements:

a.      If a player pitches 61 or more pitches in a day, three (3) calendar days of rest and a game (see notes below) must be observed.

b.      If a player pitches 41-60 pitches in a day, two (2) calendar days of rest and a game (see note below) must be observed.
 

c.      If a player pitches 21-40 pitches in a day, one (1) calendar days of rest must be observed.

d.      If a player pitches 1-20 pitches in a day, no (0) calendar day of rest is required.

6.      Pitchers league age 17-18 must adhere to the following rest requirements:

a.      If a player pitches 76 or more pitches in a day, three (3) calendar days of rest and a game (see note below) must be observed.

b.      If a player pitches 51-75 pitches in a day, two (2) calendar days of rest and a game (see note below) must be observed.

c.      If a player pitches 26-50 pitches in a day, one (1) calendar days of rest must be observed.

d.      If a player pitches 1-25 pitches in a day, no (0) calendar day of rest is required.NOTE:  A player may not pitch in consecutive games.  EXCEPTION – League Age 16 and under – A player may pitch in consecutive games if 40 or less pitches were delivered in the previous game.  League Age 17-18 – A player may pitch in consecutive games if 50 or less pitches were delivered in the previous game.

7.      Pitching Log and Line Up Cards:  Managers are required to keep a pitching log and complete schedule.  The pitching log must be signed by the home scorekeeper.  Line Up Cards must list pitchers that are NOT eligible to pitch. If a manager fails to present his pitching log prior to the start of the game, the inter-league disciplinary committee will review the matter.  A second offense will result in at least a one game suspension

8.      Batting:  Canyon Lake vs Canyon Lake games will be played with continuous batting order.  All other games will be played with nine (9) batters.

9.      Home Team:  Home team will be the host league team.
