DON'T DELAY... TRYOUTS AND DRAFT FOR COMPETITIVE DIVISIONS BEGIN IN JANUARY

This Fall we have 6 Teeball teams, 4 machine pitch baseball ( a.k.a. Rookie division), 4 teams in the 9-10 baseball age group, and 4 teams in the 11-12 baseball age group.  In Junior level baseball we have two teams.  In Softball, as it stands now, there are two "minor level" teams and two "major level" teams.

This fall, our Junior boys will be interlocking with Fraiser Mountain and other Little Leagues in District 40, such as Granada Hills.  This will give them the opportunity to play on a field with 90 foot bases and 300 feet to the outfield fence.  In addition, this year, our 11-12 boys will have a selected few games under the lights on Friday nights at Granada Hills.  

You should be hearing from your manager this week.  If you don't hear from a manager by Thursday, Sept. 17th, then send an email to registrar@ccll.org.

Congratulations to the Little League Softball, Junior Softball and Senior Baseball All-Star teams for becoming the 2009 District 40 Champions.  These three teams will now represent Canyon Country in the Section 2 Tournaments as follows:

Little League Softball plays District 51 at Parkview Little League on Thursday July 16th @ 5:30PM

Junior Softball plays District 51 at Scholl Canyon Park, Glendale on Saturday July 18th @ 4:00PM

Senior Baseball plays District 16 at Palmdale Little League on Saturday July 18th @ 11:00AM
