Canton Lions
Junior Football and Cheerleading Club

***2015 Registration is Going on Now!***

The Canton Lions organization has provided positive, character-building recreation for hundreds of children each year, since joining the Plymouth-Canton community in 1964.

Following a successful 2014 season - where Canton Lions Cheer took gold and silver at the WSJFL Keith Demolay Cheer Rally and junior varsity and freshman football squads earned 2014 playoff spots - the Canton Lions executive board is working hard to prepare for another great year for our kids and families. You are invited to attend the monthly parent meetings, the second Tuesday of each month (no December meeting), to learn more about these efforts and to find out about opportunities to get even more involved in the success of our Lions organization. GO LIONS!

Important Announcements

  • 2015 season registration news:
  • Check out the new Go M.A.D. Fitness conditioning program for our football players (Wednesdays and Thursdays) and cheerleaders (Tuesdays). This weekly program at High Velocity Sports in Canton gives kids the opportunity to stay fit and have fun during the "off season."
  • Raise your forks and some funds for the Canton Lions. Join us for the fundraiser at Buffalo Wild Wings in Canton Sunday, April 26. Dine in or carry out, and 20 percent of your bill goes to the Canton Lions. Just print and present the flier, or show the flier on your smartphone.
  • The next monthly parents meeting is 8 p.m., Tuesday, May 12, located at the Summit on the Park facility, 46000 Summit Parkway. All parents are welcome!
  • Even during the off season, you can designate your Kroger AND Meijer Rewards Card purchases to benefit the Canton Lions Junior Football and Cheerleading Club!
  • Safety is always the Canton Lions Football and Cheerleading Club's No. 1 priority. Learn more about the state of Michigan's sports concussion legislation, which requires all coaches, employees, volunteers and other adults involved with a youth athletic activity to complete a concussion awareness online training program.
